I am a passionate and enthusiastic educator. I have taught English as a Second Language for many years, and have been working as a professional ESL teacher online for a year and a half. I love to focus on practical application. I feel that it is very difficult to learn a language if there is no apparent purpose for what you are learning. I like to use real-life scenarios to guide the focus of study, reveal natural strengths and weaknesses in language acquisition. So much of learning takes place subconsciously, that focusing too much time on grammar drills will not expedite the learning process any more than simply practicing the use of language, and learning the patterns through repeated, practical application. So let's find your unique purpose for learning, and focus on mastering language that you will be using in those scenarios. Your brain will remember the details, as long as the language is being consistently used.
