Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am Canadian but living and teaching English in Tuscany, Italy. So let me introduce myself.

I am an experienced English language teacher and tutor with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, CELTA and TESOL certified, with 15 years of teaching and travel experience, able to assist all levels and all ages of students with every aspect of the English language.

As an English teacher in Italy, and previously in South Korea, I have had the opportunity to teach all levels and all ages of students both in the classroom and privately. It has been my pleasure to work with businesses who have goals of creating and/or maintaining an international presence, with people entering international organizations that have English fluency requirements, with military personnel, and with universities and high schools. Because of these experiences, you will find that my classes are well prepared, professional and interesting.

In addition to being a Canadian mother tongue English speaker and teacher, I am fortunate to have also had the opportunity to live and work in four other countries and travel much of the world.

My goal is to use my education and experience to tutor and mentor students in developing their skills and confidence in English.

The success of my students is very important to me as is their comfort with me and their enjoyment of the lessons, which is why I pride myself on being both friendly and approachable while delivering lessons tailored to the needs of the student. I enjoy the relationships I have with my students and I share in their successes.

My lessons vary depending on the needs of the individual student. Students preparing to write any of the Cambridge exams can depend on my lessons to succeed while other students, looking for a teacher to help improve their skills for interviews or work, will require a more personally tailored program. People who wish to travel or learn English as a personal interest usually enjoy a light immersion into English.
