I graduated from Bournemouth University with a Joint honours Humanities degree (Law/Geography) and later studied for a Certificate in Business Management. When I decided to become an English teacher I firstly studied a TESOL and then the more advanced CELTA.

I have worked for and been employed directly by a variety of schools, universities, private language institutes, and businesses. I was employed for 8 years as the head teacher of the largest franchised language school in Thailand based in Bangkok (ecc Thailand).

I worked as a lecturer in English at the most famous university in the North of Thailand for 3 years where I did research into the CEFR and taught Business English, English for negotiation, English for public speaking , and more (Mahasarakham University). I was also employed full time or 2 years by a Fortune 500 company to teach TOEIC to 400 senior managers (Autoliv Thailand).

I was tasked with the implementation development, and teaching of the company’s English language program aimed at raising the English ability of all senior management employees (250 students) to a minimum TOEIC score of 640.

The recruitment, management, and development of an English language school in central Bangkok, and also in Nakornratchasima. I also taught English to children, adults and teenagers, TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, Business English, both one to one, and in classes. I taught at many schools and universities, incl. Mahidol, Kasem Bundit, Sattri Vittaya 2 etc.

-Trained and taught teachers TEFL in Bangkok and Korat.

-Taught at all levels of The Thai Educational System, developing, curriculum for international Kindergartens, Anuban (4-7 years old) and Pratom (7 – 11 years old).

-Lectured in thesis writing to MPhD. medical students from SE Asia at Mahidol University.

-In 2003 I moved to Korat to open a new branch of ecc. I secured and taught contracts at a number of large well respected schools, (Suranaree Wittaya, Anuban Korat) Universities (Suranaree University of Technology, Rajabhat University), major businesses, Tesco Lotus, Honda, The Mall grp., and local government.

-Developed and ran numerous in house and external workshops for Thai English teachers.

-ecc Korat met and exceeded target in 5 consecutive years, and was the most successful language school in the North of Thailand, expanding from 6 to 20 classrooms.

-Speech writing for Dr. Assnee Cherdchai – Attached to the Secretariat of The Prime Minister.

I have guided many many students successfully through IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and other language testing systems. I have an extensive knowledge of grammar and work online doing essay corrections for students planning to test in English.

My main philosophy to teaching is learn with fun and enjoyment, don't push too hard, and grow together to build a strong teacher student relationship.
