¡Hola! My name is Elena and I have been teaching Spanish for more than fifteen years. Currently, I am in small village near the Pyrenees (Spain) but for the last 12 years I've lived in the Dominican Republic, Açores Islands and England, trying to combine most of my passions: teaching languages, experiencing other cultures and doing outdoor sports. I am in love with words, communication, surf, rock climbing and nature and there are not many things that make me happier than having the opportunity of helping people to develop their skills to communicate in a different language.

With your motivation, my training as a linguist and the experience of many years working with students of all ages, levels, nationalities and learning styles, I'm sure we will achieve your goals: either if they are learning Spanish from the very beginning, passing an official exam or getting around confidently in linguistic immersion contexts.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Elena y soy profesora de español desde hace más de quince años. En este momento me encuentro un pueblecito cerca de los Pirineos pero durante los últimos 12 años he vivido en República Dominicana, Inglaterra y las Islas Azores, tratando de combinar todo aquello que me apasiona: enseñar lenguas, experimentar otras culturas y practicar deportes en la naturaleza. Soy una enamorada de las palabras, la comunicación, el surf, la escalada y la naturaleza y pocas cosas me hacen tan feliz como la posibilidad de ayudar a otros a desarrollar sus habilidades para comunicarse en otra lengua.

Con tu motivación, mi formación como lingüista y mi experiencia de tantos años trabajando con estudiantes de todas las edades, niveles, procedencias y estilos de aprendizaje estoy segura de que lograremos alcanzar tus objetivos: ya sean aprender la lengua desde cero, superar un examen oficial o desenvolverte con confianza en contextos de inmersión lingüística.

En mi experiencia, cuanto más variados y relevantes sean los materiales que usemos, más significativo será el aprendizaje. Crearemos un ambiente que favorezca desarrollar tu confianza a la hora de hablar español, sea cual sea tu nivel. Tanto si estudias para preparar un examen oficial, como si acabas de mudarte a un país de habla hispana, necesitas el español en tu trabajo o estás planeando un viaje buscaremos los materiales que mejor se adapten a tu estilo de aprendizaje: textos, roleplaying, ejercicios para fijar la gramática, juegos o cualquier material que pueda ayudarte a alcanzar tus objetivos.
