I am an experienced Primary school teacher in Dublin, Ireland. At present I am specialising in Learning Support in English and Maths. I speak a good level of both Spanish and Irish(Gaeilge). My teaching career includes two years teaching in Madrid. I have also taught in many TEFL Summer Camps, in Herts., UK and in Ourense, Spain from 2001 to 2018, including 8 years as head teacher.

B. Ed (St. Patrick's College 1985, now DCU), TEFL Certs, NT Teaching Diploma, Spanish- Primary Modern Languages Diploma.

My teaching methodology is to focus on the student's interests as a basis for conversation, puzzles, games and songs. Reading, speaking, listening and written exercises should be short and varied but also well pitch and challenging. As an adult learner of Spanish I appreciate the difficulty and nuances involved at different levels of language learning.
