Hello! My name is Minki, and I’m passionate about languages, teaching, and helping students achieve their goals. I grew up in Korea and studied abroad at universities in Australia and Japan. This international background has given me a deep appreciation for cultural exchange and the challenges of learning a new language. Currently, I am a student at Kyunghee Cyber University, majoring in Korean education. I will graduate by next year and will have adequate knowledge and skills to teach Korean.

I speak Korean (native), Japanese (JLPT N1 certified), and English (IELTS 7.5). Because I’ve personally gone through the process of mastering multiple languages, I understand the obstacles learners face and how to overcome them.

Teaching Style

I believe that being able to communicate in the learning language is the most important part of mastering it, so I encourage active speaking from the very beginning.

Structured with textbooks: My Korean lessons are based on the Sejong or Kyunghee Korean textbooks, which cover multiple levels. In the first class, I will evaluate your level and decide together which textbook to use so that your learning is both systematic and personalized.

My teaching methodology focuses on active communication from the very beginning. I believe that being able to speak and interact in the target language is the key to mastering it. I use the Sejong or Kyunghee Korean textbooks as a foundation for structured learning, but I adapt lessons to each student’s level, goals, and interests. Lessons combine textbook study, real-life examples, and conversation practice to build both accuracy and fluency.
