I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Luciana. She is very patient and personable, which makes learning enjoyable. This is the first time I’m trying to learn a new language since my school days, so I appreciate her style. Luciana gives me homework, that I find useful because it keeps my brain in gear until we meet again for class. I look forward to learning.

Luciana was great, they way she helps you pronounce words and helps you speak is great. She also has some exercises prepared that helps you learn quickly, speak and write.

Luciana is an excellent teacher. She provides challenging tasks for homework and has her own website with many exercises. During the lessons she keeps the conversation flowing and still gives continuous feedback on any small errors or improvements

Hi! I'm a friendly and patient teacher of Brazilian Portuguese. I love teaching and studying languages. I hold a University degree to teach English and Portuguese and I've been teaching since 2006. My classes are flexible and I'll be happy to adapt it to your needs.
Qualifications et expérience
I have a degree in Languages and Literature (Portuguese and English studies) and post-graduation in Translation (English-Portuguese).
I have been teaching English in Brazil since 2006 and Portuguese as a foreign Language since 2010.
My online teaching experience started in 2010 and since then I helped many students to become fluent and even helped them with hints when travelling to Brazil.
I've taken a training course to help students prepare to Celpe-Bras.
Méthode d'enseignement
I like to prepare the lessons according to what the student need. So please when you book a lesson with me, send me a message telling why you are learning Portuguese and what you know about the language. I prepare the classes based on three textbooks.
I like to make the student speak in the target language since the first class and for that I mix grammar and structure exercises, flashcards and open topics for free conversation.
