Hello, everyone. I am Juyoung, a Korean Tutor. I was born, raised and educated in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Korean Language and Literature and completed the Korean Teacher Education Program. I also have 6 years of teaching experience.
My experience living in India, Laos, Egypt, and Belgium as a foreigner has given me a deep understanding of different cultures and people. Language is a product of its culture, so learning a language requires an understanding of each other's differences based on our shared humanity.

Many of my students have been with me for years, and witnessing their progress brings me immense joy.
During the lesson, I successfully encourage students to use Korean from an early stage. My teaching style helps students improve their conversational Korean and speak naturally. I will teach you expressions and phrases to sound like a native speaker. I understand that every student is different and learns at their own pace. As a teacher, it is my job to find the best solution to help you improve.
-Are you a complete beginner? That's okay! Let's start with the basics, such as correct pronunciation and conversational Korean skills. I'll help you develop the confidence you need to communicate effectively in Korean.
-If you already know the alphabet, I can help you take your Korean to the next level. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make learning Korean fun and engaging.
I’ll provide presentations, materials(text book, news article, video clips, also on your need and interest) and homework to help you succeed.
