Hi! I’m Diana, a dedicated English tutor whose goal is to help learners transition from textbook studying to fluent, natural speech required for everyday life, social settings, and the modern workplace.

I specialise in teaching "natural English", the authentic phrasing, pacing, and idioms that native speakers use in conversation. I believe that true progress happens in a relaxed, encouraging space where you feel safe experimenting with language, making mistakes, and finding your unique voice.

If you’ve spent years studying English but still struggle to find your voice in real-world situations, I’m here to help. My background includes a BA in German (Hons), a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and 13 years of teaching, including 7 years lecturing at the University of Bedfordshire.

Learning a language isn't just about accumulating vocabulary, it's about building the deep-rooted confidence to express your true self.

Whether you want to elevate your professional English, refine your voice for your creative work, or settle comfortably into life in the UK, I will tailor a path just for you. I look forward to meeting you in our first session!

CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH

In my conversational lessons, we'll talk about captivating, real-world topics that matter to you. We explore everything from environmental shifts and the world of cinema to the psychology of happiness, modern technology, and art. Together, we will systematically build the precise vocabulary you need to navigate any professional or social setting.

BRITISH ENGLISH

Having been raised and educated in the United Kingdom, I specialise in authentic British English. Beyond standard pronunciation and spelling, I will help you master the subtle cultural nuances, regional idioms, and colloquialisms. This comprehensive cultural and linguistic guidance will empower you to sound entirely natural, confident, and culturally attuned in everyday British conversation.

ENGLISH FOR TRAVELLING

In these lessons, we will build your confidence through targeted roleplay and discussion. We can talk about your previous journeys and map out every single step of your upcoming trips, from mastering Airport English such as navigating check-in, security, and customs.
