Hello! I am Sara, Welcome :) How are you doing? If you are B1-C1 level and you are wondering how to improve your spoken English, then it is the perfect course for you. In this course, YOU will speak. I will elicit answers and will use different strategies(games, visual prompts, discussions) to make you talk. I will listen to you intently and write down all the grammatical and vocabulary mistakes in the chatbox. At the end of the lesson, I will offer feedback. You will be introduced to modern vocabulary and phrases in every lesson. The topics usually depend on my students' preferences. Some examples are: Food Around the World, Global Issues, Cultural Differences, News and Media, Health and Wellness, Social Media and Communication, Holidays and Celebrations

Material: If a student is interested, I send some articles, video essays, TED talks, etc, and we discuss that during the lesson

Important: Please check that you have the required internet speed to have a video or audio call. To ensure that we can listen to each other properly, use headphones. Don't take classes in a crowded place. Be willing to speak. Also, if you want to reschedule, do it through Italki 24 before the lesson.

Process:

I prepare the lesson for each student on a digital interactive whiteboard. I prepare grammar notes, dialogues, stories, substitutions, etc. After the lesson, I will provide homework(ONLY IF YOU WANT).

You are required to have:

-laptop or tablet(as the whiteboard opens only on these devices)

If you cannot have a laptop, then it is fine

-C2 level in English

-basic understanding of English grammar

Remember, you are expected to practice between each session so we can maintain progress. Also, before booking the lesson, let me know your goals and level, and the grammar you want to study.
