Hello everyone! My name is Anderson. I'm 28 years old and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My interests include reading, movies, swimming and of course languages and meeting new people!

I am passionate about languages and foreign cultures and I look forward to helping you enjoy your studies and achieve your goals.

I have a degree in Portuguese and English language and literature.

In 2008 I attended a post graduation course in English simultaneous translation to Portuguese.

In 2009 I went to England to improve my English taking an advanced English course. And I had the opportunity to be with people from all over the world. I visited France and Italy as well.

I have been working as a Portuguese and English teacher since my graduation in 2007 for public schools( high school), private and languages courses. I teach kids, teenagers and adults.

I have some experience teaching Portuguese to people whose first language is English.

During the years 2002 to 2004 I lived and worked side by side with many foreign people, especially North Americans in a volunteer service in the south of Brazil.

My teaching approach is very much on encouraging you to use your language skills in life conversation. I believe that focusing on verbal communication skills quickly builds your confidence and your enjoyment of the new language.
