I enjoyed and learned a lot from the communicative style lesson. Lydie gave me a cartoon to speak about. I planned ahead for that activity and enjoyed speaking about it. She helped me with corrections and vocabulary as well as pronunciation. I

I enjoyed my 1st lesson with Lydie. We discussed what the best way to approach my needs were. We came up with a plan of action that pleases me. She sent me a recording I can practice for pronunciation, and a cartoon to talk about next time.

Excellent first lesson! Lydie's helped me a lot to bring back my memory of all the vocabularies and grammar I studied once at alliance francais in NYC. She speaks not too slow and not too fast. As a beginner level student, I recommend her highly.

Qualifications & Experience
I am a qualified language teacher. I have been teaching languages for the past 12 years. I have worked in the USA, in Paris and Toulouse, France and in Spain for various language schools.
I have a master in teaching French as a foreign language and a licence in teaching english. I recently obtained the advanced TESOL in teaching english and hindi.
I have taught all levels to groups and individuals. I have worked with people from various backgroungs. I teach general and business french.
Teaching Approach
I use a functional approach, the language must be viewed as a means to communicate and in terms of objective, goals to reach. So, I focus on the practical aspects.
Learning must be fun, interesting and activities varied.
We will discuss your specific needs and adapt the classes accordingly.
If you need I can send you mp3 recordings with the things learned during the class so you can continue working on the pronunciation after the class.

J'ai aussi travaillé en Espagne pendant 18 mois.
J'ai travaillé avec des élèves de tous les niveaux en cours de groupe et cours particuliers. J'ai une grande expérience du français des affaires et français objectifs spécifiques. J'ai travaillé avec des élèves de tous pays et de tous horizons.
Je suis titulaire d'une maîtrise FLE, d'une licence d'anglais mention FLE et du Advanced TESOL.
Teaching Approach
J'utilise une approche communicative basée sur les objectifs de l'apprenant. On parle une langue dans le but de communiquer, il faut donc que les cours soient pratiques.
Apprendre une langue doit être une expérience amusante et enrichissante. J'aime donc varier les activités et m'efforce d'enseigner des choses utiles.
