Hello! My Name is Rebekah Johnson.

I am 39 years old. I was born and reared in the United States, in the Chicago land area. I currently live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My husband and I are missionaries here. I have three sons who are my pride and joy. I enjoy teaching very much. My other passion is music. Our family writes and produces music. I also enjoy writing. I have one book published and several more in the creative writing process.

I have been teaching English as a private tutor for 17 years.

I have taught English in a school setting for the last 10 years.

I have been teaching ESL for the last 2 years. I have a BS in Education. I am a native English speaker. I also speak Portuguese (Brazil) fluently.

I am flexible to your needs. If you would prefer to just practice conversation I am willing to help you improve. If you need a more rigid approach I am fully capable of helping you with the nuances of the English language, including verbs, idiomatic expressions, as well as business terms that may be confusing.

My goal with every student is to have them capable of passing the TOEFL exam.
