Hello, my name is Bojan Prosenjak and I'm an experienced English language tutor currently living in Croatia. I have been teaching English online since 2012. I am currently offering a free initial trial lesson for new students.
About me - English

I have been a language trainer, translator and interpreter for 14 years. I hold a MA degree in English and French language and literature, and am currently doing my PhD in Foreign Language Education. I have been teaching in Croatia, abroad, and over Skype, and I continue to improve my training skills on various trainings, workshops and seminars.

I work with clients of different ages, profiles, nationalities and demands, and I meet the expectations of all clients because of my expert, innovative and flexible approach to the training methodology.

I achieve the expected results of my clients quickly by using appropriate material and methods, by giving frequent feedback and advice for further development, and by monitoring their progress.

Teaching Approach

All the lessons here are 55 minutes long, not 45! :)

In order to prepare you for the practical use of the acquired skills, the emphasis of the training is on accurate and fluent communication.

The aim of the training is to reach a level at which your language production will become fully automatic.

At this level you will no longer think ABOUT a foreign language but you will think IN a foreign language.

If we both agree on the following approach, I could send the necessary files to the student prior to the lesson so we can both look at them and read them at the same time (they can also read it beforehand so they are more prepared), while having Skype (or equivalent) window open simultaneously where we write notes and/or explanations. These files are the material from relevant books and workbooks, as well as internet articles, song lyrics, short movies, quizzes, etc. All the notes from our session are always available online for the students to revise them and do homework if they wish so (making sentences with the words we've learnt, translating, providing synonyms, making dialogues, etc.).

Other approaches are, of course, possible - purely conversational classes, focussing mainly on the vocabulary or on the grammar of the language in question, practising writing skills only, preparing for meetings, negotiations, presentations, and other.
