My name is Ken and I live in Tokyo, JAPAN. Thank you for clicking on my profile (^^)

Working as IT Engineer in CG studio, I have taught Japanese to foreigners and Japanese students for several years. I can normally teach Japanese here four days a week.

I love traveling in cultures that are different from my own. I have lived in many places in JAPAN, including Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Tsukuba. I have also spent 1 year in Brighton, England. So I can speak English a little.

In my free time I like to play/watch sports, mainly soccer, basketball, baseball and tennis. I also enjoy reading Manga and watching Japanese Animation.

EXPERIENCE:

I have taught children, students as well as adults and seniors in one-on-one situations. I have taught beginners level Japanese all the way through to advanced English & exam preparation. I also teach Japanese to native speakers of Japanese.

EDUCATION:

Hove College : Digital Design Advanced Diploma

I have a student-centered methodology to bring out the best in you. We will work together to build on your strengths and to make progress in areas that need to be developed. I believe myself to be flexible, patient, encouraging and helpful.

I myself learnt English as a foreign language as an adult, so I know how it feels to be a language learner!

住まいは東京、ITエンジニアとして働きながら、空いた時間に日本語の指導をしています。

また、塾（cram school）で子ども向けの国語（日本語）の指導もしています。

旅行や文化を学ぶことが好きで、いろいろな国に行っています。また、イギリスに住んだこともあり、少し英語も話せます。なので、英語での質問ももちろんOK！
