About me - English
الْسَّلامِ عَلَيْكُمْ I am Mohamed from Egypt.
I have been teaching English and Arabic for four years. I was an Arabic teacher at Fairfield University and I studied Language Education Technology classes in the United States to experience teaching online. In addition, I attended language education workshops. I also worked as an Arabic writer and have written more than 200 articles.
I love seeing students speak Arabic fluently and confidently. I am creative and passionate about teaching Arabic through culture, so no matter what you want to learn or talk about, I am ready to teach you any book for whatever purpose you study Arabic for. I will hand-write directly on your screen and send you the papers.
Please contact me when you have any questions. Ahlan wa sahlan, I can not wait to meet you.
Qualifications & Experience
I studied a TEFL diploma to learn better how to teach a language. I not only examined methods of teaching English but also experienced ways of illuminating language culture for non-native speakers.
During my work in the United States, I completed one fourteen-hour language teaching workshop and one refresher workshop in (AT/OPS) program based on the Dartmouth intensive language model implemented at Fairfield University.
I also studied a language education technology course. I learned how to compose education technology philosophy that helps to demonstrate language. Specifically, I learned how to use basic software applications to enhance the classroom experience and increase students' participation. I experienced the characteristics of particular technologies that can be exploited for maximum educational benefits.
I attended Fulbright language teaching workshops in Washington D.C. where I learned about teaching language through songs, games, videos, and other ways that integrate culture into language teaching. I also attended a United Nation event about promoting peach through education in New York.
Teaching Approach
Although I taught American students Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian colloquial, I have extensive knowledge of Arabic language (Modern Standard, Classical, and Local Dialects.)
I acquainted American students with the Arabic civilization by conducting cross-cultural workshops. In these workshops, I presented some materials about Arab history and the Egyptian civilization, as well as helping students to study Arabic.
I can tailor a suitable Arabic course that meets your needs. I tend to teach language through culture to convey a live image of the language society and life.
I hold myself to a high standard. For that reason, I always ask for feedback, and I never end a session in which the student doesn't understand or is not completely satisfied with my tutoring.
I will provide you with free materials and free consultations by email or meeting by appointment.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your goals in your Arabic learning.
