I have lived aboard for the last 16 years and within that time, I worked in places such as Thailand, Hong Kong and Australia. In Europe, I have been teaching Business English (e.g. presentations, telephoning, Inter-cultural diversity/communication at work), Exam preparation courses (TOEFL,BEC,FCE) as well as workshops and seminars for companies such as (Deutsche BundesBank, Maple Bank, Ferrero, and individuals (students and adults).

Currently, I am an external Lecturer at the Technical University in Darmstadt, where I teach the undergraduate course for academic writing and Introduction to English for Digital Humanities and Science (graduates). I like working with different cultures and people. I want my students to enjoy learning English. Whether it is for school, business, travel or just conversation, I will help you build your confidence and skills in the English language.

My approach to teaching is student centered using an inquiry based and cooperative learning approach.

I feel my role is to coach and facilitate student learning. Overall comprehension of material and learning is measured through both formal and informal forms of assessment. Cooperative learning in which I delegate / facilitator, eg. answering questions, giving resources and working together with the student(s) in the learning process.

I try to make my classes interesting, fun and relevant to the student. A needs analysis is done and the courses are tailored for each student.
