My name is Jarcque, Originally from Westminster, London, I was raised In New Zealand and Thailand, I now regularly travel and live between Thailand and the United States.
Welcome to my profile
I first completed my English TEFL 10 years ago and have been teaching English as a foreign language for 3 years while travelling. I have taught English to clients, mainly within South-east Asia, Preschool all the way up to university graduates and working professionals.
I currently teach English at local language schools and online, but this does not restrict me to teach English and Thai online 7 days a week during evenings (GMT+7).
As well as living in the cities of the East and West, I have traveled and visited remote provinces, exotic Islands and sacred locations. I have a passion for travel, culture, fine cuisine and a wonder for the mysterious, abstract and beautiful.
In my free time I like to absorb information regarding, personal training, health and well-being, sustainable living culture, and how to live a vibrant and stress free life.
I also enjoy riding my motorbike and exploring new locations, I love coffee and cafe culture, gardens, different cuisines (I'm crazy about Sushi!), researching ancient history, human anatomy and origins, consciousness & spirituality, philosophy, chemistry, world events, and other alternative and controversial topics.
If any of this sparks an interest, please continue reading about my Qualifications, Experience & Teaching Approach. Thank you.

I have taught children, high-school & university students as well as adults and seniors, both in one-on-one situations and in groups. I have taught beginners' level English all the way through to advanced English. My last job was teaching English in a Khon Kaen Government School, and a private University School, Khon Kaen, Thailand.
My ability to speak Thai is also advantageous for my role here in this country as I am more far more relatable to my students than other foreign teachers that do not have Thai as an additional language.
My teaching approach is based primarily around what YOU desire and what YOUR expectations may be.
I like to adopt a communicative approach which set clear, achievable goals for each lesson. Together we can choose topics, such as preparing for an interview, making small talk, relationship advice, public and debate speaking etc. and base the lesson around these situations and what language, phrases, vocabulary and structures you will require.
1. I will present the new material,
2. WE will practice it together
3. Perform our new language (English or Thai), making sure YOU are speaking for the majority of our time.
Alternatively, you may ask me to proofread presentations/assignments and help prepare you for English exams. Alternatively, you may ask me to teach you Thai. I am capable of teaching conversational Thai sufficiently enough that you could survive in Thailand indefinitely.
At the end of the lesson, I will give you a lot of positive feedback, and let you know what areas we can improve on. This way YOUR language of choice, especially your fluency and accuracy, will improve quickly.
Learning a language should be enjoyable and inspiring, so I always encourage YOU to do most of the speaking. You can ask questions any-time! Questions and critique help both you and me!
Whatever level, whatever age, wherever you are, I want to inspire you and help improve YOUR English and Thai.
What are you waiting for? Let’s have fun together and improve your understanding.
