I am an italian native speaker. I was born in Pisa, Italy and since 2010 I have lived in Zurich.

I am a professional teacher, dynamic and flexible. I am well organized and friendly. My goal is that my students learn the Italian language. I speak Italian, English and German and a bit of French. I have a good general education, I like foreign languages ​​and am interested in learning about new cultures.

My hobbies are reading, photography and cooking.

I like the teaching job and I think that education should be used both as a means to teach but also as a means to learn.

I obtained a degree in Geological Sciences at the University of Pisa, I spent one year in Victoria's University, in Manchester and I did a Hydrogeology Master in Neuchatel in Switzerland.

I have taught Italian to foreigners, both adults and children since 2010, when I moved to Zurich. I make courses for small groups and individuals. I started my experience as an Italian teacher in Manchester in 1998, where I lived for a year as a student, within an international project (Erasmus).

In Zurich, I work primarily with adolescents and adults of Swiss, German, French and Arabic nationalities. Occasionally I work with the language schools and in community centers (GZ).

I make courses for adults and adolescents at all levels (from A1 to C1).

My approach is based on talking mainly in Italian (of course this depends on the language level of the student). My objectives are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The method is interactive, through activities as dialogue, reading, exercises and games. I adapt my teaching methods to suit students’ needs. I have a lot of patience and understanding. The explanations are done through concrete examples and exercises.

I encourage my students to speak freely in italian and correct them in a kind way.

Teaching the Italian language, I also try to transmit the culture, customs and habits of this beautiful country.

Insegno italiano a stranieri, sia adulti che ragazzi dal 2010, da quando mi sono trasferita a Zurigo. Faccio sia corsi per piccoli gruppi che a singole persone. Ho iniziato la mia esperienza come insegnante d'italiano a Manchester, nel 1998, dove ho vissuto per un anno come studente, all'interno di un progetto internazionale (Erasmus).

A Zurigo lavoro principalmente con adolescenti e adulti di nazionalitä svizzera, tedesca, francese e araba. Lavoro saltuariamente con delle Scuole di lingua o in centri sociali (GZ).

Faccio dei corsi ad adulti e adolescenti a tutti i livelli (da A1 a C1).

Il mio approccio si basa sul far parlare principalmente lo studente.

Il metodo è interattivo, attraverso attività di dialogo, letture, esercizi e giochi.

Il mio insegnamento dipende sia dallo studente e sia dal suo livello di conoscenza della lingua e dalle sue esigenze. Ho molta pazienza e sono comprensiva. Le spiegazioni sono fatte attraverso esempi concreti ed esercizi.

Incoraggio i miei studenti a parlare liberamente e li correggo in modo gentile.

Insegnando la lingua italiana, cerco anche di trasmettere la cultura, le usanze ed i costumi del bel Paese.

Mit den italienische Sprachunterricht, versuche ich auch die Kultur und Gebräuche von Italien zu übertragen.
