About me - English

My name is Janne Drossos. I was born in Sweden, Stockholm, but I currently live in Greece and I own both Greek and Swedish citizenship. I've been teaching the Swedish language since 2011 and I speak fluent Swedish and Greek. I can also speak intermediate English and beginner German and Danish.
I speak the Stockholm's accent but I can help someone who wants to go to the southern part of Sweden, with the pronunciation of Skånska.
Qualifications & Experience
To be a native speaker has nothing to do with teaching a language. It's a matter of necessity for a tutor to know the grammar in depth in order to be capable of teaching it.
So, out of necessity I took the TISUS certification.
Regarding my experience, I have been teaching Swedish since 2011. The amount of students I have is more than 80 with +2000 teaching hours. I'm an experienced tutor for any level.
Teaching Approach
As the pronunciation and the phonetics are the most important tools for someone who wants to learn a language correctly, I have created a smart, very easy, alternative and methodical way to teach them as well as all the fundamental areas such as writing, reading and listening. In every single lesson -especially for the beginners- the emphasis is given to the speaking part. I own all the required skills of preparation, serenity and cordiality.
