Passionate about teaching and as a native Chinese speaker, I`m also qualified with the Certificate of Proficiency in Putonghua (Mandarin) by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.

I have taught in China part time for 4 years, and since over 1.5 years ago, I've started teaching Chinese as a foreign language in London, with students from various levels, backgrounds, and of different age. With my enthusiasm for Chinese teaching, at the end of 2017, I went on to also produce my own Chinese online course for my website and Udemy, catering for all HSK students!

I believe every student is unique and has their specific requirements, therefore most lesson's materials will be tailor-made for their levels. While as a teacher, I strongly believe patience is the most important element to help build the confidence of students step by step, and I always love to see my students making improvements!

BEFORE LESSON

Lessons materials shall be sent over to you to study. Textbooks may be needed based on your levels, and as I have a library of PDF textbooks, if suitable, they can be shared with you.

IN LESSON

Customization - With my tutoring, you`d expect to have a tailor-made teaching plan, learning various skills in Chinese, including the modules of pronunciation, speaking, writing, vocabulary and listening. Materials used in class would vary among individuals, but are aimed to provide the most effective and dynamic results.

Interaction - To help improve the language application, as well as engagement within lessons, elements, such as pictures, songs, short videos/films shall be employed.

Effectiveness - Simple homework tasks will often be given, which is to ensure the knowledge learned. I also believe practice makes perfect!
