English is a global language which has contributed a lot to the worlds’ nations communicating with each other.

If you are in need of a teacher who has the ability in teaching English to non-native students at your school, I delightfully present my candidature for ESL teacher position.

I am confident that I can carry a high reputation of earning positive results for the school with my experience and skills in helping students learn, read, write, and speak English fluently.

My passion for English language combined with teaching skills has helped thousands of students in the last 5 years of my employment. My resume will show you that I have taught students and adults interested in learning English.

I conduct classes in an interesting way and hence always meet 100% attendance. I make lessons fun so that they are exciting, easy to grasp, and hard to forget.

My focus was dealing with older students, which is an entirely different experience to teaching primary school pupils. I observed and recorded the progress of my classes while creating lesson plans that are in line with national objectives. It was essential for me to stay up to date with developments in the English subject area I was continuosly tasked with teaching one single subject instead of a multitude of topics. Finally, I not only prepared my students for important exams, but also prepared them for future learning opportunities at colleges and universities.

Teaching Approach

My preferred methods are;

1. Communicative language teaching

The focus of this method is to enable the learner to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations he/or she would be likely to find themselves in.

The content of CLT courses are functions such as inviting, suggesting, complaining or notions such as the expression of time, quantity, location.

2. Task-based language learning

The focus of the teaching is on the completion of a task which in itself is interesting to the learners. Learners use the language they already have to complete the task and there is little correction of errors.
