Hello!! My name is Shannon Beck. I am a 48 year old Canadian currently living in Thailand. I am a native English speaker. I love to teach, meet new people and have engaging conversations. I can talk about major global issues to simple things in life. I look forward to helping you!!
I have enjoyed living in South Korea, Ghana, Kenya, and Thailand. I have also travelled throughout Africa and S.E. Asia. Experiencing different cultures and connecting with people all over the world has changed me forever.

In addition, I created most of the curriculums and trained students for job interviews, corporate meetings, international relocation, and TOEFL tests.
I taught English to Liberian refugees in Ghana for 4 months. This was a NGO development program to empower women.
I mentored Canadian immigrants for 2 years. This included job interview preparation, teaching English, and help with cultural adaptation.
I have been teaching Business English in Bangkok for the last 2 years to professionals and graduate students. The program uses interesting articles as a basis for teaching reading, discussion, grammar, pronunciation, and building vocabulary.
