Excellent class!! Amélie made the most of the class time, even sending me the vocabulary we went over in class and adapting to my learning style. She also sent me many materials for my language learning. Amélie has strong communication skills, is very patient and understanding. Definitely recommend working with her!

This was a first great class with Amélie. She first assessed my level by sending me a test before hand which was very helpful and helped me to see where my level was. Then during the class we did half conversation/grammar which was a great balance. I'm already looking forward to my next class :)

Teaching Approach
Teaching is a passion for me and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student progress and gain confidence in speaking French. I would describe myself as a patient, dynamic and organized teacher. I really try to be the teacher that I would like to have myself when learning a language.
My classes are individual and personalized for all levels (A1-C2). I adapt myself to the objectives and preferences of the student. Classes can be General French classes where we would study various aspects of the French language (grammar, conjugation, oral/written expression/comprehension...) or they can also be purely conversational (for intermediate to advanced students). In my classes, I put on emphasis on the communicative approach and I follow the CECRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
I work with different types of digital material (PDF, books, audios, news articles, online exercises) All material is provided beforehand. Each student has their own Google Drive folder where anything we work on during the class is uploaded. I also provide with homework should the student wishes to practice outside of the class.

Dans mes cours, nous travaillons sur la grammaire, la conjugaison, le vocabulaire, la prononciation, les expressions courantes et nous étudions également un peu de la culture française. J'utilise divers matériaux (manuel, PDF, vidéos, articles) ainsi que des exercices optionnels en ligne afin que l'étudiant puisse s’entraîner en dehors des cours et progresser rapidement.
