Hello everyone!

I'm Manuela, I'm 29 years old, I'm Italian, and I'm from Rome. I've been living in France, in Paris, for ten years, and I have a degree in Applied Modern Letters from the Sorbonne University. I have had a classical education, and ancient Greek and Latin represent to me an important cultural, grammatical and syntactic reference, always very useful for studying and teaching modern languages.

I speak Italian, French and English fluently, and foreign languages have always been a real passion for me. They are an invaluable tool to widen one's vision of the world, to multiply human contacts, and to explore new cultures. Speaking French and English fluently has allowed me to feel comfortable in many parts of the world, and to enrich my own culture through cinema, literature, and music that I never could have appreciated so much otherwise.

I believe that to master languages with ease can give a great feeling of fulfilment, and I love sharing and passing on these abilities to my students. To get to the point where a language becomes familiar, and little by little "flexible" and automatic, is something priceless, and it is what I try to achieve with each and every one of my students.

Literature, history, travels, cinema, art, gastronomy have always been really fascinating to me, and I enjoy sharing my interests and those of my students during our lessons.

I am an organized, patient teacher, and I'm always ready to listen to my students' requests, doubts and needs. I also have very flexible availabilities.

I'm always very happy to meet new students and to share my enthusiasm for languages.

I have been teaching French as a foreign language for more than five years, through private lessons, with single students or small groups. My students are satisfied with my dynamic method, and they have developed the necessary skills to live, work, and study in France, speaking French fluently.

I have also given private Italian conversation lessons, and I have worked on Italian-French and French-Italian cultural and commercial translations.

I am willing to provide reviews of my work by my current and former students to any prospective student who should require it.

As for my teaching approach, I try to give dynamic and active lessons, rather than having a rigid or academic approach.

I think it necessary to focus on conversation and listening, that are, in my opinion, the best way to learn. Of course, grammatical and syntactic basis must be clear and strong, but I think it is important to stimulate students to talk, so that grammar can become useful and not just be a boring theory on textbooks. After studying any grammatical theme, I ask my students to immediately do exercises, and to use the new rules in sentences or more developed conversations.

In their free time, I also encourage my students to watch movies, to read newspapers or magazines, and, above all, to listen to songs they love and to start to sing them, little by little, an exercise that I believe is incredibly useful!

Mi chiamo Manuela, ho 29 anni, sono italiana, e vengo da Roma.

Abito in Francia, a Parigi, da dieci anni, e sono diplomata in Lettere Moderne Applicate all'Università della Sorbona.

Di formazione classica, il Greco e il Latino costituiscono secondo me una base importante di cultura, grammatica e sintassi, sempre utilissima nello studio e nell'insegnamento delle lingue moderne.

Parlo correntemente l'Italiano, il Francese e l'Inglese, le lingue straniere sono sempre state per me una grande passione. Sono uno strumento inestimabile per ampliare la propria visione del mondo, per moltiplicare i contatti umani, e per esplorare nuove culture. Parlare con fluidità il Francese e l'Inglese mi ha permesso di sentirmi a mio agio in molte parti del mondo, e di arricchire il mio bagaglio culturale attraverso dei cinema, delle letterature, della musica che non avrei altrimenti potuto apprezzare allo stesso modo.

Penso che imparare a maneggiare le lingue con facilità possa dare grandi soddisfazioni, e amo trasmettere queste capacità ai miei allievi. Arrivare al punto in cui una lingua diventa familiare, e piano piano "elastica" ed automatica, è una cosa che credo non abbia prezzo, ed è l'obiettivo che amo ottenere con i miei allievi.

Ho d'altronde sempre amato la letteratura, la storia, i viaggi, il cinema, l'arte, la gastronomia, e mi piace condividere i miei interessi e quelli dei miei studenti durante le nostre lezioni.

Sono un'insegnante organizzata, paziente e all'ascolto delle esigenze dei miei allievi, ed ho orari molto flessibili.

Sono sempre felice di incontrare nuovi studenti e di trasmettere il mio entusiasmo per le lingue.

Ho insegnato il Francese come lingua straniera per più di cinque anni, nell'ambito di lezioni private, con studenti individuali o a piccoli gruppi.

I miei allievi, di ogni livello, sono soddisfatti del mio metodo dinamico e hanno sviluppato le competenze necessarie per vivere, lavorare, studiare in Francia parlando correntemente la lingua.

Ho anche insegnato l'Italiano nell'ambito di lezioni private di conversazione, e mi sono occupata di traduzioni Italiano-Francese e Francese-Italiano nell'ambito culturale e commerciale.

Sono disponibile a fornire testimonianze dei miei studenti a singoli allievi che ne facciano richiesta.

Per quanto riguarda il mio metodo d'insegnamento, cerco di fare delle lezioni non accademiche, bensi dinamiche, vivaci e attive.

Ritengo necessario puntare molto sulla conversazione e sull'ascolto, che sono secondo me i modi migliori per imparare. Naturalmente, le basi grammaticali e sintattiche devono essere solide e chiare, ma trovo che sia importante stimolare gli allievi a parlare, perché le regole grammaticali non rimangano solo noiosi paragrafi sui libri di testo. Dopo lo studio di ogni punto grammaticale, invito i miei studenti a svolgere immediatamente degli esercizi, e ad utilizzare le nuove nozioni in frasi o conversazioni più ampie.

Incoraggio ugualmente i miei allievi, nel loro tempo libero, a vedere film, a leggere giornali, e, soprattutto, ad ascoltare canzoni ed iniziare poco a poco a cantarle, un esercizio che credo utilissimo!

De formation classique, le grec et le latin constituent pour moi une base importante de culture, grammaire et syntaxe, toujours extrêmement utile aussi bien dans l'apprentissage que dans l'enseignement des langues modernes.

Je parle couramment l'italien, le français et l'anglais, les langues étrangères ont toujours été une très grande passion, pour moi. Ce sont des instruments précieux pour élargir sa vision du monde, pour multiplier les contacts humains, pour explorer de nouvelles cultures. Maîtriser le français et l'anglais m'a permis de me sentir à l'aise dans de nombreuses parties du monde, et d'enrichir mon bagage culturel à travers des cinémas, des littératures, des musiques que je n'aurais pas autrement pu apprécier autant.

Je considère qu'apprendre à manier les langues avec facilité donne d'énormes satisfactions, et j'aime transmettre ces capacités à mes élèves.

Arriver au point où une langue devient familière, et petit à petit "élastique" et automatique, c'est quelque chose qui n'a, je crois, pas de prix, et c'est là le but que j'aime atteindre avec mes élèves.

J'ai par ailleurs toujours aimé la littérature, l'histoire, les voyages, le cinéma, l'art, la gastronomie, et j'aime partager mes intérêts et ceux de mes étudiants pendant nos cours.

Je suis une enseignante organisée, patiente, et à l'écoute des exigences de mes élèves. J'ai également des horaires très flexibles.

Je suis toujours heureuse de rencontrer de nouveaux étudiants, et de transmettre mon enthousiasme pour les langues.

J'ai enseigné le français langue étrangère pendant plus de cinq ans, dans le cadre de cours particuliers, avec des étudiants individuels ou par petits groupes.

Mes élèves, de tous niveaux, sont satisfaits de ma méthode dynamique, et ils ont développé les compétences nécessaires pour vivre, travailler, étudier en France, en parlant couramment et aisément la langue.

J'ai également enseigné l'italien dans le cadre de cours particuliers de conversation, et je me suis occupée de traductions de l'italien vers le français et du français vers l'italien dans des domaines culturels et commerciaux.

Je suis disponible pour fournir des témoignages de mes étudiants aux élèves qui en feraient la demande.

En ce qui concerne ma méthode d'enseignement, j'essaie de donner des cours non académiques, mais plutôt dynamiques, vivants et actifs.

Je pense qu'il est nécessaire de se focaliser beaucoup sur la conversation et sur l'écoute, qui constituent à mon avis les meilleurs moyens d'apprendre.

Naturellement, les bases de grammaire et de syntaxe doivent être solides et claires, mais je crois qu'il est aussi important de stimuler les élèves à parler, pour que les règles grammaticales ne restent pas simplement d'ennuyeux paragraphes sur les livres de texte.

Après l'étude de chaque point grammatical, j'invite mes étudiants à faire immédiatement des exercices, et à employer les nouvelles notions dans des phrases ou des conversations plus développées.

J'encourage également mes élèves, dans leur temps libre, à regarder des films, à lire des journaux ou des revues et, surtout, à écouter des chansons et à commencer petit à petit à les chanter eux-mêmes, un exercice que je trouve extrêmement utile!
