Hello everyone! I am Panos and I am a tutor of Greek and English as a foreign language. I have been teaching Greek as a foreign language online since 2010 with great success and love for the subject. I started teaching to students of A1-A2 level and so far I have taught over 100 students all over the world of various language competence levels. I work with students who are interested in learning the language for business purposes and want to have an official certification as well as with students who love Greek and want to develop their level of language learning.

I really enjoy teaching Greek and I am trying to pass the love and passion over to the student. We can embark on a language learning journey together.

The language learning method is based solely on exposure to the target language with an emphasis on developing all language skills. Emphasis is placed on speaking with discussion in the target language even to students who haven't been exposed to Modern Greek and want to start learning from scratch. Emphasis is also placed on the listening comprehension of dialogues and texts in order to make the student's ear accustomed to the sounds of the language.

It is always recommended to use a textbook that will help us read in Greek and develop the reading skills, necessary to learn new vocabulary. Through the discussion and learning of vocabulary and grammar, we are being exposed to the Greek culture, customs and traditions which in turn take us even further into the deeper functions of language.

Throughout our language journey, students can keep track of their performance as we keep online notes, thus being able look back to ask a question or remember something in case it has been forgotten.
