My strength in language teaching is that I've experienced all sides of the coin. I have learned three foreign languages on my own English, Swahili and Russian. I have taught Swedish to all ages, from a variety of cultures, for various reasons - from learning Swedish due to falling in love and wishing to simply communicate in it, to students of medicine aiming to complete an exam.

I was born in Sweden. I started teaching officially at the age of 21 in Sweden, before my move to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where I continued teaching English and Swedish.

Currently I reside in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I myself have had one year of learning Russian. Starting this summer I will resume my role as a Swedish teacher in Russia, working both with classes and online.

I have always had a strong connection to students which has been the core foundation in all my teachings. An open classroom with a high ceiling, figuratively speaking.

Having worked with a broad variety of cultures and ages, I've developed an overall understanding of the learning of Swedish from an 'outsider's' perspective and have thus found the most efficient way to teach it, through experience and theory.

My approach to teaching stands upon two pillars - passion and focus. Positive and interesting subjects with clear improvement purposes in all areas of Swedish. I tailor each lesson according to the needs of the student. As stated, I have taught for various reasons and thus am comfortable and experienced in all ways. We will work this out together.
