Hello! My name is Daria Konstantinova and I am a passionate language learner and teacher. I am from Russia, but at the moment I live in Romania, in the wonderful city of Brasov. So far I have completed my first part of my educational plan (that I created for myself) - I obtained a Bachelor's degree in the field of Linguistics. For 4 years I was a student at Mordovia State University, Russia. Right now I am in the process of getting my Master's degree at Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania. Since I was a little girl I was very driven by languages. It became not only a hobby, but also an amazing career choice! I spent my senior year in High School being an exchange student in the USA. That experience absolutely astonished me and I understood perfectly clear - I want to learn the world and cultures through languages. And now I want other people not only to learn a language, but also develop a deeper and clearer understanding of a world around them! Studying languages means having little discoveries every day, not only discoveries about the world, but also about yourself - and that is priceless.

I graduated from Mordovia State University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in the field of Linguistics. My major was Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures (English). So now I am a qualified English teacher. While I was a student I had a strong feeling that learning theory was not enough. So I was accepted as an English Teacher at the local Language School. I worked there first as a part-time teacher for two years, and then as a full-time teacher for a year.

During my educational path, I participated in exchange programmes. Firstly, I was a finalist of the FLEX programme (alumna 2014-2015). I spent an academic year in the USA studying at high school. Secondly, while being in my third year of studies at the University, I participated in Erasmus+ programme and got the chance to study at Transilvania University of Brasov for a semester. Now, I am getting my Master's degree in Romania. It is in the filed of linguistics as well, the study programme is called "Language Studies for Intercultural Communication".

Apart from being a teacher, I have been an English tutor for more than 5 years. Among my students there were kindergarten children, pupils, high school students, university students and people of all ages. Also I have experience of teaching online, as I have been part of an online English School for some time. This has helped me a lot with understanding how to coordinate a lesson via online platforms, and also gave me some really valuable experience.

As for my teaching of Russian, I have several years of experience. I have a lot of foreign friends, who at some point came to Russia as exchange students. Then I decided to help them with their Russian and that is how my Russian tutoring started. Mostly I pay attention to the pronunciation and grammar constructions, as well as vocabulary, because Russian words can be very confusing! Through real every day conversations I help my students to understand the Russian language, culture and way of thinking.

I trully believe that every lesson is an adventure! A student should have fun and should be encouraged and I am here to provide that. I try to conduct my lessons according to a student's necessities and desires. Personally for me, the method of full emersion into the language or culture is a wonderful way to study. That is why I often use it. During my years of teaching English I have been able to collect many good and complex study materials, which include not only textbooks, but tons of video and audio material, entertaining and educational online resources, games and speaking activities.

Everybody has different expectations, different reasons to study English or Russian. I will do my best to meet those expectations and bring you closer to your goals.

Здравствуйте! Меня зовут Дарья Константинова, и я без ума от изучения и преподавания языков. Я родилась в России, но в настоящий момент живу в Румынии, в городе Брашов. На сегодняшний день, я завершила первый этап моего образовательного процесса и получила степень бакалавра в области Лингвистики. Я закончила Мордовский Государственный Университет им. Н. П. Огарева (Саранск, Россия). Сейчас я обучаюсь в магистратуре Университета Трансильвании в Брашове. С самого юного возраста я была очень увлечена языками. Для меня это стало не только хобби, но и карьерой. Свой 11-й класс я провела в качестве студента по обмену в США, где закончила американскую старшую школу. Эта поездка и опыт поразили меня до глубины души, и я поняла, что действительно хочу познавать мир и культуру через язык. Моя цель - помочь другим людям не только выучить и подтянуть английский или русский языки, но и помочь им увидеть мир под другим углом.

Я закончила Мордовский Государственный Университет в 2019 года, получив степень бакалавра в области Лингвистики. Моя специальность - Теория и методы преподавания иностранных языков и культур. Я - квалифицированный учитель. Во время учебы в университете я чувствовала, что одной теории не достаточно, поэтому устроилась учителем в языковую школу, где проработала 3 года.

Также я дважды была финалистом программ обмена. Первая программа - FLEX (выпуск 2014-2015). Я провела год в США, ходила в школу и жила в хост-семье. Вторая программа - Erasmus+, благодаря которой я провела один семестр в Румынии.

В настоящее время я получаю степень магистра по специальности "Language Studies for Intercultural Communication".

Я занимаюсь с учениками индивидуально и являюсь репетитором уже более пяти лет. Среди моих учеников были и люди всех возрастов, от мала до велика :)

Также некоторое время я работала в онлайне школе английского языка. Это дало мне бесценный опыт проведения занятий через онлайн платформы.

Я начала преподавать русский язык благодаря своим друзьям-иностранцам, которые приехали в Россию студентами по обмену. Я помогала им с языковыми и культурными аспектами. В своих занятиях я уделяю особое внимание произношению и лексике. Я помогаю своим студентам узнавать русский язык, культуру и мышление через разговоры на повседневные темы.

Я считаю, что каждый урок - это своего рода приключение! Ученик должен получать удовольствие от процесса и слышать слова поддержки, и я с радостью готова помочь :) Я составляю уроки исходя от желаний и требований учеников. Метод полного погружения - прекрасный и интересный способ изучения языка, его я и стараюсь использовать на своих занятиях. За время своего опыта работы учителем я собрала большую методическую базу, в которую входят не только учебники, но и онлайн-ресурсы, аудио и видео материал, игры и т.д.

У каждого свои причины и свои цели изучения иностранного языка. Я постараюсь приблизить Вас к Вашей цели и сделать опыт изучения английского и русского языков незабываемым!
