Bonjour!

My name is Isabelle and I am a native French speaker. I was born in Brittany (region of France) and grew up in the Loire Valley (another region of France), but I have been living in the United States for several years.

I am currently teaching French to adults and seniors (private classes and group classes) and I am extremely passionate about what I do. I have been teaching French as a second language (FLE) for 9 years and would be more than happy to help you improve your French. Beginners are welcome!

My mission is to provide you lessons adapted to your level and catered to your specific needs. I adjust my teaching for each student accordingly. In all my lessons, I emphasize conversational skills and encourage my students to feel comfortable engaging in a dialogue, regardless of their ability. I am eager to see my students succeed and accomplish their goals.

I can help you if you have a beginning level.

If you already know some French I can also help you in the practice of conversation to gain confidence and improve your oral comprehension, learn more French grammar, improve your writing and your reading comprehension.

- Associate's degree in Social Sciences - France -

- French certifications to teach French as a second language (Cavillam Alliance Française, Vichy - France).

NOTE :

I offer lessons to seniors and adults level beginner to level intermediate.

Before beginning a lesson, I love spending time speaking French with my students to warm up. I think speaking is the best way to learn a foreign language. It’s also important for me to provide a dynamic and a fun learning environment.
