I have been an ESL teacher for 2 years now and have loved meeting and teaching my students. English is a difficult language to learn, so I am always happy to help my students however I can. I prefer an organized approach to teaching. My classes are 'Content-Focused Conversations.' This means I take a topic that is interesting to you (science, politics, literature, etc.) and create a conversation-based lesson around that topic. I usually include a little writing and grammar review and sometimes teach idioms too.

I strive to make my classes interesting and out-of-the-box. Some of my trial lessons include topics such as: Legends & Fairy Tales 🧚🏼, the work of Jane Goodall 🐒, American Politics in 2020 🇺🇸, and Halloween in America. 🎃

Although I prefer the above structure, I am always happy to adapt lessons to my students' needs. If you only want conversation for our lesson, I am more than willing to do that too. If you have a specific level you want to reach in English proficiency (A1, B2, C2, etc.), I will create lessons to help you reach your goals. I also have experience with accent training if you want to work on creating a neutral American accent.
