People think that Greek is a difficult language. However a good teacher can help students to learn it fluently.
My method on teaching is student-centered and my aim is to help students develop oral, listening, reading and writing skills.
During the lesson I use visual and auditory material and also use mimic and body material in order to help students understand easier various phrases and vocabulary. Moreover I play games with my students in order firstly to learn the Greek phonetics and secondly to practice their speaking and writing.
I never begin teaching the alphabet. Students learn it slowly slowly through out the lessons!
I have special lesson plans for English and Russian speakers.
Third lesson, I like it a lot, feeling that I'm making progress
First trial lesson is always messy, but promising
Enjoyable lesson and continued progress.
