Hello, everybody! My name is Elizaveta.
I travel a lot and have many foreign friends so I know how is it to feel confident when you speak a foreign language. I love reading books and watching films in English, so I know how rewarding and exciting it is to embrace a foreign language and we can only learn how to speak, read, listen and write a language when we are using it!
I always involve students in all these activities with an emphasis on speaking and understanding. By creating a positive, relaxed and engaging learning environment, I encourage my students to overcome their psychological barrier and talk freely during the class.
I graduated from Amur State Pedagogical University with a degree in Philology in 2008, and have an additional qualification in Russian as a Foreign Language.
Since 2008 I devoted myself to teaching English and Russian languages. I immigrated to the USA in 2009. I've worked as an English-Russian and Russian-English translator for a few US magazines, including Socialite Magazine in Miami, and in Russian-American Business Magazine. Furthermore, I've been giving private Russian lessons for 5 years to students at a range of levels and with very different requirements.
5 years teaching Russian and English languages.
Russian is the fourth most widely spoken language in the world. It is the first language for more than 220 million people.
My tutorial will prepare you for a business trip to Russia, and help you to be confident speaking to native Russians. My online Russian booklets and additional homework material contain a lot of useful backup information and exercises that are strongly recommended for consolidating the learning process.
Joining my classes and tutorials will give you a unique opportunity to learn how to understand and think in Russian.
Great first class. Elizaveta tailored the class to my interests (Russian literature) and also prepared a nice set of customized materials for our next class, focusing on my areas of interest. I'm looking forward to our future classes.
