Dayana is helping me a lot to improve my portuguese. She sends all the documents we use in the lesson with an additional vocabulary list! The lesson is very enjoyable!

About me - English
Hello! My name is Dayana and I'm from Rio de Janeiro.
When I was 10 years old I moved to Portugal with my family. After completing my academic study in Europe, I worked in France (Paris), and then I decided to return to Brazil with my family. I currently live and work as a teacher in São Paulo.
I love to travel and to discover new cultures. In the time that I lived in Europe I had the opportunity to visit many countries and cities, and to learn Spanish, English and French. I'm very pleased with you visiting my profile! Looking forward to meeting you and teaching you the language I love: Portuguese.
Qualifications & Experience
I always loved to teach and because of that, I took a course specializing in teaching Portuguese as a foreign language. Now I have more than a year of experience in teaching Portuguese in Paris and here in Brazil for foreign speakers.
I'm also experienced in preparing students for the Portuguese exam in Brazil and Portugal (Celpe-Bras in Brazil and CIPLE, DEPLE, DIPLE, DAPLE and DUPLE in Portugal).
I have attended a course of Spanish, from Santiago de Compostela University and of French - Minho University. I studied English for 5 years in the British Institute (Portugal).
Oh, and of course... I'm also a fluent and native Portuguese speaker!
Teaching Approach
With me you can improve your Portuguese or start to learn from the beginning.
I normally use the first class (trial lesson) to know your level and your expectations for the course (grammar, conversation, work environment, travel...) Then the next lessons are constructed to attend your needs. My interest is to enable the student to write, speak and read Portuguese with accuracy.
I use pictures and newspaper articles to develop speaking and reading. Grammar exercises. We'll talk about the culture of Portuguese speaking countries and every class will be in Portuguese from the first moment.
Questions and correction of exercises and tests by email.
Translation service if you need.
Available and flexible schedules to fit your needs.
Exercises for after the class.
With this I want the student to speak as fluent as possible.
