My name is Svetlana Larionova and I live in Russia, in the city Kursk.

At the age of 10 I chose to study French because I enjoyed how the French language is very melodious. French is also the language of Russian aristocracy which makes it even more interesting to me.

Now I have been studying and working with the French language for more than 28 years: I have been teaching pupils privately and in groups. I have been doing translation jobs and I have always continued to study the French language myself to constantly keep improving.

I have also on several occasions had a chance to spend time in France to practice and improve my language skills there by speaking to the locals. As for now, I have two children and we enjoy learning and speaking French together with them.

During my time in the Institute of Foreign Languages I also studied English and Latin.

I graduated from the State Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod as a teacher of French, English and Latin languages.

My teaching experience spans more than 17 years in the Universities of Togliatti and Kursk. I worked for 4 years as a French and English interpreter for the company “Danone” in Russia.

My students have been people of different ages: children, pupils, students and adults going to French-speaking countries or using French at work.

From 2012 I have taught French and Latin by Skype to students with different levels of ability, from beginners to highly advanced.

After the first test lesson I will define your language level and prepare an individual learning program for the you. We will also talk about exactly why you want to learn the language and what type of knowledge and skills in the language will be most valuable to you.

Every 2 months I review and update the study plan according to the results and personal requests.

My course consists of:

- phonetics: arrangement of French pronunciation;

- grammar;

- audition: records and small videos on original language;

- writing in French;

- speaking on topics that are interesting to students;

- reading (e.g. French newspapers, classics and modern literature)

- French songs

As for Latin, I instead teach reading, grammar and translation because this language is not actively spoken any more.

J'ai choisi le français moi-même à l'âge de 10 ans parce que cette langue est très mélodieuse et de plus je suis fière que ce soit la langue de l'aristocratie russe. Pendant mes études à l'institut des langues etrangères j'ai appris aussi l'anglais et le latin.

J'ai le diplôme du professeur de français, d'anglais et de latin de l'Université Linguistique de Nizhny Novgorod.

Chaque 2 mois je revise et corrige votre cours en fonction des résultats acquis et vos suggestions.

En ce qui concerne le latin j'enseigne la lecture, la grammaire et la traduction parce qu' on ne parle plus cette langue.

Французский язык выбрала сама в 10 лет, т.к. он очень мелодичный, к тому же, я горжусь тем, что это язык русской аристократии. Я продолжаю с ним работать вот уже 28 лет: преподаю ученикам в индивидуальном порядке и в группах, перевожу, постоянно учусь сама. Я проходила неоднократные стажировки во Франции, где смогла улучшить свои разговорные навыки, общаясь с местными жителями. У меня 2 детей, нам нравится вместе заниматься и говорить

В институте иностранных языков я выучила также английский и латинский языки.

Из чего состоит программа обучения курса?

• Фонетика: постановка французского произношения

• Грамматика

• Аудирование: аудиозаписи и небольшие видео на оригинальном языке

• Письменный французский

• Разговор на темы, интересующие студента

• Чтение (французские газеты, классическая и современная литература)

• Песни на французском языке

Что касается латинского языка, то обучаю чтению, грамматике и переводу, т.к. на этом языке больше не говорят.
