I am a qualified TEFL and TESOL English Teacher, with experience teaching English on Skype.

I enjoy teaching English in particular to complete beginners who have never spoken English before, also adults who would like to improve their conversation and written skills. I am happy to talk about anything and can help you in business and your social life. I am well traveled and can also teach you about the culture of England.

For students who are brand new to the language the objective is to cover the basic vocabulary and grammar with much repetition. The curriculum moves the student through different topics such as daily and leisure activities, describing people and places, shopping, restaurant and health. As students progress they engage in more advanced types of dialogues using increasingly complex grammar. The most advanced students greatly benefit from one on one dialogues and timely corrections on pronunciation and grammar. Lessons are tailored to their interests.

Students benefit the most when they practice the four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking activities both in class and outside of class.

I have many personal interests including the environment, animal welfare, health and wellness, as well as current affairs and science. I practice Yoga daily and have traveled to many countries including, India, Australia and New Zealand.

You will be billed by PayPal in New Zealand dollars at that days exchange rate.

Your first free lesson will be getting to know each other not a formal lesson and will last approximately 20 minutes.
