My name is Gerdia and I live in South Africa. I have lived abroad for may years, but now live permanently back in my native country.

I had the privilege to learn different languages and know just how difficult it is.

I offer a free trial lesson to all new students.

I have a TEFL qualification from the UK.

I have 3 years teaching experience in Russia, where I taught private students as well as businesses in Business English. I taught conversational English, elementary English, as well as Business English to Lawyers. I also taught English in the Netherlands on a one-on-one basis.

I totally understand the challenges of learning a foreign language, as I learnt Russian, Dutch and German.

I have a very patient approach, whilst keeping lessons constructive.

I am able to plan lessons around the area you feel you want to improve on, develop and/or strengthen.

On our first session, we will establish your needs and proficiency. You will have ample opportunity to practice your conversational skills with me while I will correct you without interrupting your flow. We will build on your vocabulary and strengthen your grammar.

You must be prepared to submit written assignments in order for me to asses your progress.
