Being immersed in language is the best way to learn. In my classes, my main goal is to create an immersive environment with the target language being the primary language of instruction and interaction, where effort and openness to learning and heralded and encouraged. I try to keep English to a minimum, so that my students are not just learning about another language but learning in language. This is, I believe, the ultimate recipe for language learning success!
