Ciao a tutti, I'm Gloria, I'm 28 years old and currently living in London, UK.
I'm a certified teacher of Italian and a language enthusiast. I've been teaching Italian for quite a few years now and I'm now starting on Verbalplanet. Italian is my mother tongue, I speak English at a near-native level, I'm fluent in French and have a good knowledge of Spanish.
After teaching in Italy, where I was born, I decided to move to London, where I got to meet people from different language and cultural backgrounds. Languages have always been a passion to me, and I realised pretty soon that teaching was a passion as well. This is why I decided to combine these two passions and teach my native language, which I adore.
I love my job, as it allows me to be in contact with people from different backgrounds and build a trust bond with my students.

I believe communication is crucial when it comes to learning a foreign language. Being able to speak from the very beginning gives your the confidence and the motivation required to continue. This is why I focus on communication when it comes to teaching Italian. I will allow you to learn at your pace, make mistakes - as they're necessary in order to progress, and produce your first sentences in Italian from day one.
My main concern is that you feel relaxed and comfortable in order to make the most out of our lessons together.
Learning is way more effective in a relaxing and friendly context.
