About me - English
Hello, my name is Neetu Sachdeva and I'm 36 years old and living in Meerut - India. I am a native Hindi speaker and teach Punjabi, Hindi.
language is my passion. I have a very patient approach towards teaching and try to make the content and delivery specific to the requirements of the student.
I think one of the most important factors in communication is confidence and I believe it is my job to help you to build your confidence in Hindi and Punjabi conversation, which I want to do. I have very flexible schedule so if you feel any thing to discuss contact me how i can help you? I want to help you on your path to speaking better Hindi and Punjabi.
Some of my interests are: music, detective stories, health and diet, cricket, cooking.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a Master's in Hindi, along with Bachelor’s degree in Education. I'm a native Hindi speaker and can help you with gaining fluency in Hindi & Punjabi. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching Hindi at all levels.
Starting from a few foreign students, today I have students from all across the world. I love preparing and helping people to meet their goals. Helping students reach their goal always gives me a deep sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
Teaching Approach
My courses help students to acquire basic sentence making, how to converse in Hindi & Punjabi in a variety of situations & then gradually enable them to achieve greater fluency, accuracy and confidence in the written language and improving their communication skills at the same time. These courses give the confidence to speak with native speakers in real life situations.
Working with a wide range of clients I have become competent in recognizing, understanding and meeting the needs of my students. I usually establish a very good rapport with my students, creating a positive atmosphere, taking into account their age and ability. Considering the different teaching settings, I always establish aims and objectives in accordance with my students and always evaluate the outcomes of our achievements through assessments and feedback.
I use material from a wide range of sources (books, Internet, etc.) in order to plan my lessons, but I particularly enjoy making my own materials, as it allows me be creative while adapting contents to my students’ needs.
The courses have a dual aim to provide students with --
1. Basic to Advanced communication skills [Practical language, with the help of which a person can communicate with other speakers thus enabling them to fulfil basic communication needs.]
2. Basic to Advanced Writing and reading Skills.
