Even though the connection was bad, Charlotte worked with me and the lesson she prepared was great. We work at a pace that is great for me to show what I know and learn as well.

I was pretty nervous about the lesson, but Charlotte was very welcoming and nice. She asked me questions that were best for me and I notice a lot of confidence in myself forming. I definitely want to continue speaking with her.

Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I'm from Britain.
I've lived in Japan and Germany, working as an English teacher and as a Japanese translator. I love meeting and chatting with people from all over the world, which is why I love teaching English so much!
In my spare time I like to do yoga, write comedy and pet cats. I love speaking in different languages, so I love being able to help other people speak English and Japanese.
My motto is always:

Qualifications & Experience
☆ I have a degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My thesis was on TOIEC and other English exams.
☆ Although I am 29, I have almost 8 years' experience teaching English in Japan, in Cambridge, in Liverpool and on Skype.

Teaching Approach
Language is about communication. I want YOU to feel confident and happy about your language skills. Therefore, I like to help each student achieve their own goals in a relaxed, calculated plan. I do not over correct in speaking unless you ask me to.
Please note that when you book a lesson for the first time with me, I will message you to find out your Skype username. If you do not reply to this message with your Skype username within an hour of your lesson, then it will be cancelled.
Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson time will still be charged.
