Sunita is very organized, patient and flexible. She instills a bit of confidence in one's ability. I look forward to the next lesson and remain hopeful that I will be successful in my goal to more fully understand Punjabi.

Qualifications & Experience
Am a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certified teacher.
I posses an Advanced Level Cambridge certificate for Punjabi. I have a wealth of experience in teaching both Punjabi and English. I was with the Sikh Education Foundation for a total of four years, where I taught students from Kindergarten to A Levels. My passion for teaching garnered me high responsibility and led me to contribute to the Academic Excellence Programme launched by the Foundation to help Sikh children to excel in Mathematics and English.
I have also worked with Amaze English school to teach English to students over a span of a year. My approach to teaching is fun and interactive. I pride myself on always focusing on helping my students achieve their goals.
Teaching Approach
My teaching approach has moved from task based to a more personal approach. This would be better known as person - centred approach. This is where learners needs are of utmost importance. Thus the topics and the method will be agreed upon between learner and teacher. This gives students an opportunity to tweak the lesson or approach at any point of the course.
This is also means that I believe in the "Silent Way" where students take active ownership of their language learning and pay great attention to what they say. I will not be silent but I will act as a guide and help you along the way. This helps students to learn the language faster.
