I had a job interview in Spanish so I booked some classes with Cesar to prepare it. We did a good review of grammar, tenses and what to say if....
The interview went very well so I would recommend Cesar as a Spanish teacher highly.

About me - English
Hello everyone!
My name is César and I am passionate about teaching.
I was born in Madrid so Spanish is my mother tongue. After attending Spanish school I went to University. Even though I chose to study Social and Political Science my professional life has always been revolving around languages: teaching, translating and interpreting Spanish and English. Moreover I have a keen interest in the arts -cinema, theatre, music and literature- and whatever is going on in Madrid. For these reasons I have developed a wide range of vocabulary in many fields which definitely holds up the correction and register of my speaking skills. All the above is seasoned with a genuine accent from Spain.
Qualifications & Experience
I started teaching Spanish to English people while I was living in London during the late nineties. Back to Spain in 2005 I kept teaching Spanish to foreigners but I also did it the other way round: teaching English to Spaniards and doing tuition for kids in English.
This duality gives me a unique view of how to teach both languages and specially when dealing with those difficulties an English speaker might find when Spanish is learnt.
Regarding qualifications I did the International House Spanish teacher course and also got the Cambridge Celta certificate for English language teaching. I do have experience in one to one classes and groups. Because of my university degree I am up for classes which focus on current affairs, economy and politics, both Spanish and global.
Teaching Approach
I always try to adapt to the student needs: his/her level, priorities and preferences. It is basically the student the one who chooses goals and objectives and therefore lessons are planned in accordance. For this reason I am very keen on having a conversation in our first class to set up aims and objectives.
Bearing in mind the huge amount of available resources for teachers these days, I regularly filter them in advance and test their effectiveness well before bringing them over to classes. I always go for interesting, updated and challenging materials to prompt the student in his/her speaking practice.
So now you have the information, if you want to speak and improve your Spanish book a first trial class and let’s start learning.
