Hello, my name is Paul and I'm a native English speaker from Cardiff in UK. I have over 10 years of teaching experience and run a small academy in Nicaragua. What I love most about teaching is the relationship you build between teacher and student, watching their development and having fun while teaching.
I've been teaching online for about 5 years and can specifically help in the following areas:

Qualifications & Experience
My qualifications include CELTA and diploma in TESOL.
For the last 10 years I've been teaching English as a foreign language. I started out in UK teaching groups of refugees and then spent some time in Valencia Spain before moving to Nicaragua in Central America. It was here that I opened my own academy, teaching English to the local community. Before training as a teacher I had some pretty varied experiences with an Engineering degree, have run my own business and worked as a restaurant manager.
I have great empathy for my students as I am also a language learner - studying Spanish. It's not easy but when your teacher is fun and dynamic it makes it very painless!
Teaching Approach
During our first lesson, we will discuss what you want to improve and all future lessons will be designed around this.
Our classes will be focused around you doing most of the speaking and that may include discussing videos or reading articles that you have watched or read. If you need to improve on certain grammar points I can provide you with PDF grammar books for self study. In class we can practice through conversation.
My approach is very flexible and I am here to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.
