I am an English teacher from Mexico City, currently working in Colegio Vermont where I teach junior-high and highschool in different language levels and subjects. I also work as an exams invigilator and oral examiner for Cambridge.
I am a husband and a proud father of two young girls.
I have been an English teacher for over 8 years, I started studying the language informally since I was a small child, then I grew fond of it and tried to take as much advantage as I could from my elementary and junior-high classes. After that I decided I wanted to go further and continued to certify my English level with Cambridge, therefore you can say that I have been studying it for about twenty five years now.
I have a great deal of experience working with teenagers, young adults and adults due to my still-going period in Celex Upiicsa (IPN).
I have also worked with children aged 9-12.
My university degree is on Educational Psychology, I also have a Teaching Knowledge Test certificate, a Certificate in Advanced English, a Teacher Development Course all of them from Cambridge.
My experience in front of a class counts up to almost 5,000 hours of experience with a wide range of ages and different learning styles.
I always try to conduct student-driven lessons in terms of their abilities, learning styles and interests in order to achieve the highest possible result within a class specifically made for them. In order to achieve this goal I take the student (s) through a series of activities which imply participating and actually producing the language since the ultimate ambition should always be communicating in the best way possible.
