Hello!

My name is Santina, I am half Greek and half Swiss and have been living in Germany and Austria for many years. I have worked for over 8 years as a German and Greek teacher. Since I grew up in Greece and have lived in German-speaking countries, I not only speak the languages, I also know and love the cultures that are associated with them. I never thought that I would become a teacher, but for eight years I can not imagine doing anything else :) I think learning a language ​​is a journey in an unknown country and it can and should be fun! So let's go!

I studied translation and interpreting in my bachelor's degree and then finished my master's degree in German as a foreign or second language at the University of Vienna. For over eight years I have been teaching in language schools, institutions and privately and since April 2019, I have also been teaching online.

Learning a language should be fun, it's about communication, discovering new things, getting to know a culture. We will do this through texts, a lot of talking, videos, writing and also grammar. Of course, I adapt to the expectations of the participant. Just write to me about what you need, or why you want to learn the language and we will set up the lesson that fits your needs.

Ich heiße Santina, ich bin halb Griechin halb Schweizerin und lebe seit vielen Jahren in Deutschland und in Österreich. Ich arbeite seit über 8 Jahren als Deutsch- und Griechischlehrerin. Da ich in Griechenland aufgewachsen bin und in deutschsprachigen Länder gelebt habe beherrsche ich nicht nur die Sprachen, ich kenne und liebe auch die Kulturen die damit verbunden sind. Ich dachte nie, dass ich mal Lehrerin werde, aber seit acht Jahren kann ich mir nichts anderes vorstellen :) Ich finde Sprachen lernen ist eine Reise in einem unbekannten Land und es kann und soll Spaß machen! Legen wir also los!

Ich habe Übersetzen und Dolmetschen im Bachelor studiert und anschließend habe ich den Master Deutsch als Fremd- oder Zweitsprache an der Universität Wien abgeschlossen. Seit über acht Jahren unterrichte ich in Sprachschulen, Institutionen und privat und seit April 2019 unterrichte ich auch online.

Eine Sprache lernen soll Spaß machen, es geht um Kommunikation, um Neues endecken, um eine Kultur kennenzulernen. Das machen wir durch Texte, viel sprechen, Videos, schreiben und auch Grammatik. Natürlich passe ich mich den Erwartungen des/der Teilnehmenden an. Schreib mir gern was du brauchst, oder warum du die Sprache lernen willst.

Με λένε Σαντίνα, μεγάλωσα δίγλωσσα με Ελληνικά και Γερμανικά και είμαι μισή Ελληνίδα και μισή Ελβετίδα. Λατρεύω τα ταξίδια, το θέατρο, την ιστιοπλοία και να γνωρίζω νέους ανθρώπους, μέρη και κουτλούρες. Θεωρώ πως οι γλώσσες ανοίγουν παράθυρα για να δούμε νέους κόσμους.

Σπούδασα στη Γερμανία Μετάφραση και Διαπολιτισμική Επικοινωνία και συνέχισα κάνοντας το Μάστερ μου στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Βιέννης στη Διδασκαλία της Γερμανικής ως Δεύτερης ή Ξένης Γλώσσας. Δούλεψα ως καθηγήτρια Γερμανικών για το δήμο της Βιέννης για επτά χρόνια και τώρα πια μοιράζω το χρόνο μου μεταξύ Ελλάδας και Αυστρίας όποτε διδάσκω μέσω ίντερνετ από το 2019.

Η γλώσσα είναι βασικά επικοινωνία και εκεί εστιάζω. Ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες το κάθε μαθητή προσαρμόζω το μάθημά μου, αλλά φροντίζω να υπάρχει πάντα μια ισορροπία μεταξύ γραμματικής, λεξιλόγιο,προφορικής και γραπτής έκφρασης αλλά και επαφής με την γλώσσα που πραγματικά μιλάει ο κόσμος και όχι μόνο της γλώσσας που βλέπουμε στα διδακτικά βιβλία.

Mi nombre es Santina, soy griega y suiza y vivo en Alemania y Austria desde hace muchos años. Trabajo durante más de 8 años como profesora de alemán y griego. Desde que crecí en Grecia y vivía en países donde se hablan Aleman, no hablo solamente los idiomas, sino que también conozco y amo las culturas asociadas a éllos. Nunca pensé que sería maestra, pero durante ocho años no puedo imaginar otra cosa :) ¡Creo que aprender idiomas es un viaje en un país desconocido y puede y debe ser divertido! ¡Entonces vamos!

Aprender un idioma nuevo debe ser divertido, se trata de comunicación, descubrir cosas nuevas, conocer una cultura. Vamos a hacerlo a través de textos, muchas conversaciones, videos, escritos y también gramática. Por supuesto, me adapto a las expectativas del participante.
