Hello everyone!

My name is Natalia and I'm a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. I'm from Uruguay and I'm currently living in Santiago de Chile.

I am passionate about the Spanish language and so I decided to train as an online teacher. Throughout three years, I have been able to teach people in the United States, Europe, and Asia from my home. It has been a very enriching experience and each new lesson is an opportunity for learning and improving my career.

I love reading, learning languages, meeting new people. I also like technology and the opportunity it gives us to connect and learn no matter where we are!

I also love sharing with others my knowledge of an exciting language such as Spanish, train them to improve their language skills, communicate fluently and without fear.

I have a certificate of teaching Spanish as a foreign language, by ELE International.

I keep updating my knowledge and studying different learning methodologies. I have a certificate from Instituto Cervantes: "Basis for the analysis and treatment of grammar at level B” I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Universidad de la República-Uruguay. I worked for eight years in multinational companies, logistics operations and foreign trade.

Some of my students need to learn Spanish for specific business purposes and my experience in these fields means a lot for them. I teach Spanish from basic to advanced level. I have three years of experience offering virtual and face-to-face classes.

My lessons are focused on communicative learning, where the student receives a lot of comprehensible input in order to be able to produce output, that means, speak in the second language.

With practice, I help the student learn without fear of making mistakes and try to improve with each new class.

Each class is different. I prefer to adapt it to each student, following their interests and learning preferences. I use different teaching approaches (inductive or deductive). Sometimes explicitly and sometimes leaving the student to infer the rules, that are very important to speak the language in the best possible way. Games, videos, music, readings on topics of the student's interest, updated events, among others, are the means I use to prepare a fun and enriching class.

Soy una apasionada del idioma español y por ello decidí capacitarme como profesora online y a lo largo de tres años, he podido enseñar a personas de todo el mundo desde mi casa. Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora y cada nueva clase es una oportunidad de aprendizaje y perfeccionamiento para mi metodología.

Me gusta mucho leer, aprender idiomas, conocer nuevas personas. También me gusta la tecnología y la oportunidad que nos brinda de conectarnos ¡y aprender sin importar las distancias!

Me encanta compartir mis conocimientos con otros y que puedan conocer un idioma apasionante como es el español, mejorar sus destrezas en el idioma, comunicarse de forma fluida y sin miedo.

Tengo un certificado de enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera, por ELE Internacional.

Continúo actualizando mis conocimientos y estudiando metodologías de aprendizaje. Actualmente tengo un certificado del Instituto Cervantes del curso “Base para el análisis y tratamiento de la gramática en el nivel B”.

Tengo una Licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales por la Universidad de la República en Uruguay. Trabajé ocho años en empresas multinacionales, operaciones logística y comercio exterior.

Enseño español desde nivel básico a avanzado. Tengo tres años de experiencia ofreciendo clases virtuales y presenciales.

Mi clases están enfocadas en el aprendizaje comunicativo, donde el aprendiz recibirá el input necesario y comprensible, para poder adquirir la lengua y producir output, es decir, hablar.

Con práctica, ayudo al estudiante a aprender sin miedo a equivocarse y con ganas de mejorar siempre.

Cada clase es diferente. Prefiero adaptarla a cada alumno, siguiendo sus intereses y preferencias de aprendizaje.

Utilizo diferentes enfoques de enseñanza. A veces de forma explícita y otras dejando que el estudiante infiera las reglas que son muy importantes para hablar el idioma de la mejor manera posible.

Juegos, videos, música, lecturas de temas de interés del alumno, de actualidad, entre otros, son los medios que utilizo para preparar una clase divertida y enriquecedora.
