Hello!

My name is Matt. I am 27 years old and live in Arizona, USA. English is my native tongue.

I like traveling to new places, hiking in the outdoors, watching movies and listening to music. I also enjoy teaching English learners of all levels, from beginner to advanced, and I have experience teaching all ages of ESL learners from 4 years old to adult.

I have undergone TEFL training, and have been teaching English for several years working with all ages, children to adult.

I taught elementary students in Peru, and high school students in the Philippines while serving in the Peace Corps. I have also helped immigrants and adult English learners prepare for the GED, Citizenship Test, and employment, and have helped students develop their conversational English skills.

I have created many workbooks, games, lessons, and materials being used by English students in the Philippines. These resources are free for you and will help you with your English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking!

During your first FREE meeting, we will:

>Get to know each other a little

>Discuss your goals for learning English

>Assess your level of English

>Create a schedule and learning plan

Each additional lesson will include:

>Fun topics that you are interested in

>Guided practice

>Support, tips and advice

>Optional "homework" assignments

While chatting, you will gain practice in speaking and listening. We will also use the chat box to write out difficult or tricky words. I can also send files or YouTube links so that we can read a story or article, or watch a short video to discuss. Our sessions can be a casual chat, or a more structured lesson. It's up to you!

Although you pay per session, you will be receiving a full tutoring package including a custom lesson plan, homework and strengthening feedback. Between our meetings, you can decide how much time to study, and if you want additional practice, I can create free worksheets, activities and lessons for you to do independently. I will then check your assignments and we will discuss them at our next meeting.
