Hello, my name is Marta and I am a professional, certified Italian teacher and translator.
I have always been fascinated by the power of languages to bring people together and to enrich one's own personality.
I see teaching as a constant evolution and as a way of exchanging knowledge. I have decided to specialize and study to turn my passion into a full time activity. I have always supported theory with practice and have traveled and lived the cultures on my skin.
DITALS II Level Certification(Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language Certificate) University of Siena
BA in Hindī Language and Indian Culture from the University of Turin.
High School Diploma in Foreign Languages
Italian teacher for foreign speakers at Associazione ASAI, Turin
Italian teacher for Indian University students, India
I have an extremely dynamic approach.
Each student has different expectations even when learning the very same thing. My aim is therefore to teach these students how to learn and not just to throw notions at them. I strive to discover each student's strengths and turn linguistic weaknesses into brand new potential.
I want each lesson to be stimulating and I require the students to be proactive. In each lesson, I like to set a list of small targets for the student to accomplish. I also edit custom material for my students so that they can practice on their own according to their level.
Marta always takes the time to explore and clear my doubts, shares excellent resources and is diligent in helping me to correct my italian in the moment without losing the thread of the conversation. Already seeing the benefits of just a few lessons!
First lesson and it was clear that Marta is a professional and ready to get going from the start. Most importantly for me, Marta made every effort to make sure I could understand her Italian, so that I could develop mine. Highly recommended. Grazie!
I enjoyed the lesson with Marta, it was very comprehensive and everything was really well explained.
Marta is knowledgeable, patient and forces me to stretch myself. What more could a student ask for?
