About me - English
English Native with 5 years TEFL experience living in Paris. I am enjoying a life of wine and pain au chocolat while teaching in the city.
I am originally from a small seaside town near Brighton on the South East coast of England. Incorrectly dubbed the 'Sunshine Coast' (It is a lie - don't see for yourself!)
My hometown is a centre for Language schools in the UK, hence why I have 5 years teaching experience despite my relatively young age.
I am a big fan of movies, sports (football) and cycling. I am also a keen independent journalist

Teaching Approach
My teaching philosophy (sounds pretentious - I'm not) revolves around the central premise of confidence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have strived to create a fun, engaging atmosphere where clients are comfortable and willing to speak despite their initial embarrassment.
Confidence is the main obstacle when trying to learn a new language. Believe me, I know! Since I am in the same boat trying to improve my French. I will give you the basic tools needed to feel more daring when speaking English, and less frightened of making mistakes.
I also have extensive experience in the workplace, and can help with Presentation Practice, Business Mentoring and giving a different perspective on intercultural issues in the office.
Last but not least, I have an English accent, which apparently is all the rage these days. So if you want to hear my dulcet tones :) Feel free to contact me
Definitions of the English words I used:
"all the rage" - A slang expression to mean something is fashionable
"dulcet" - (especially of sound) sweet and soothing (often used ironically) - adj
"daring" - (of a person or action) adventurous or audaciously bold - adj
"strived" - make great efforts to achieve or obtain something - verb
