Hi my name is Marina. I am a native English speaker from Australia.

I am a friendly person who likes to make the most of every day. I love listening to music, running, all kinds of sport, going to the beach, barbecues and I love my job!

My passion for travel and culture has taken me to many incredible places but since 2006 I have been living in southern Spain (and loving it!). I speak Upper Intermediate level Spanish.

As a foreigner living in a country where the language is not my own (English), I understand first hand the challenges of communicating in a foreign language.

I have been teaching English here in Spain since 2011 and to date have 1,966 hours of ¨classroom¨ experience. Firstly at a Cambridge University approved English language Academy, The Institute of Business practice and online.

Specifically I have experience in exam preparation (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, EOI), Business English, job interview preparation and conversational English.

Initially I like to listen to you speak so that I can very quickly hear what I can help you with like pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar etc. I always correct mistakes, both spoken and written.

My lessons are customized to the needs of the students, whether that be for fluency, conversation, exams, travel or work. It's your class and my aim is to help you advance. So we will work together to ensure that your goals are met.

I believe that we never stop learning and therefore we should enjoy it. So, my ultimate goal is to create a fun but effective learning environment.
